Overview

Privacy Settings in ManageEngine Log360 help you manage compliance and data protection within the product. Using these settings, you can:

  • Manage GDPR compliance checks - This option enforces GDPR compliance at various levels within the product. It includes obtaining explicit user consent during integrations. Once GDPR is enabled, password protection for data exports will be mandated automatically and product usage statistics will be disabled.
  • Configure password protection for exported reports - When turned on, reports sent via email or exported in PDF and CSV formats can be secured with a password. Reports that were already exported or redistributed before this setting was applied will remain unprotected.
  • Manage product usage statistics - This setting allows the collection of non-confidential usage information, such as report usage patterns and device types added for monitoring. Passwords and other sensitive data are not collected.
Note By default, GDPR compliance checks and password protection for exports are disabled, while product usage statistics is enabled.
