NTLMv2 SSO configuration
Last updated on:
EventLog Analyzer uses Jespa to provide NTLMv2 SSO. To enable NTLMv2 SSO in EventLog Analyzer, follow the steps listed below.
NOTE
- To authenticate EventLog Analyzer using Windows built-in SSO, a Computer account must be created in Active Directory Domanin Services (AD DS). Only a Computer account can validate NTLM credentials with the NETLOGON service on AD DS domain controllers. The NETLOGON service will reject a regular User account
- The default package has a Jespa (third-party) limitation which supports unlimited users for 60 days and only 25 users after. If you want to continue using Jespa for NTLM authentication for unlimited users beyond 60 days, you will need to purchase it from IOPLEX.
- Download the latest Jespa JAR file.
- Add the downloaded file to the <EventLog Analyzer home>/lib folder. <EventLog Analyzer home> is the location where EventLog Analyzer is installed.
- Restart EventLog Analyzer for the changes to take effect.
