How to install patches using Linux configuration?

  1. Login to the Endpoint Central web console and navigate to Configurations --> Linux --> Install/Uninstall Patches
  2. Enter the name and description for the patches.
  3. Add a list of patches in the Install patches dialogue box.
  4. Choose the Deploy button to deploy the patches or Publish to Self-Service Portal (SSP).
  5. Choose the deployment policy to be applied.
  6. You can enable the option to patch outside the deployment window.
  7. Define the target computers.
  8. Enable retry this configuration on failed targets if required.
  9. You can also enable notifications and scheduler settings as per your choice.
  10. Click Deploy/Deploy Immediately to deploy the configuration or Save as to save the configuration as a draft.
